About
Scaler Pi is determined to make edge computing accessible, affordable, and reliable. We want businesses to see the Raspberry Pi not as a toy, but as a capable platform for automation, data, and intelligence at the edge. We act as the technical glue between field-level sensors and your enterprise cloud environment. Our consultants help you design data pipelines that move intelligence closer to the source of information. By optimizing Raspberry Pi clusters for specific workloads, we deliver high performance without the cost of traditional industrial PCs. We provide ongoing management services that handle everything from firmware patches to cloud-sync monitoring. This unified approach removes the silos often found in distributed computing projects, resulting in a cleaner, faster deployment.
Key Features
Fleet Provisioning & Device Management
Secure onboarding, provisioning and lifecycle management for mixed Raspberry Pi fleets (Pi 3/4/5 and Compute Modules) including imaging, OTA updates and inventory.
Monitoring, Metrics & Logging
Enterprise monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana) with performance dashboards, alerting and centralized log/telemetry collection for fleet-wide observability.
Security‑First, Hardened Builds
CIS-aligned hardening, signed firmware/OS updates, audit trails and compliance-oriented tooling to reduce attack surface and demonstrate governance.
Hardware Supply & Burn‑In Testing
Provisioning of tested, imaged and burn-in Raspberry Pi kits ready for deployment plus support for Bring‑Your‑Own‑Device (BYOD) onboarding.
Consultancy, POC & Production Rollout
End-to-end services from viability and architecture assessments to proof-of-concept validation, production engineering for scale and ongoing managed services.
How to Use Scaler Pi
1) Contact Scaler Pi for an initial Discovery to define objectives, environment constraints and success metrics. 2) Run a Viability & Design Assessment or start a small Proof of Concept (POC) to validate architecture, performance and security on Raspberry Pi hardware. 3) Approve the design and move to Production Design & Provisioning: receive hardened, imaged devices (or onboard your own), and deploy orchestrated fleets with monitoring integrated (Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana). 4) Opt into the Managed Service for ongoing lifecycle management: automated updates, monitoring, alerting, hardware replacement and continuous optimisation.
